Care Tips for Eco Elegance Pack

Light

These plants thrive in bright, indirect light. They can tolerate low light but will grow slower. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch their leaves, especially for Dieffenbachia.

Watering

Water moderately, allowing the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the soil is well-draining.

Temperature

Keep the plants in a warm environment. They prefer temperatures between 18°C to 24°C (65°F to 75°F). Avoid sudden drafts and cold temperatures below 10°C (50°F).

Humidity

These plants enjoy higher humidity levels. If you live in a dry area, like much of the UAE, consider using a humidity tray or misting the plants occasionally.

Soil

Use a well-draining potting mix, such as one designed for indoor tropical plants. Ensure the pots have drainage holes to prevent water from collecting at the bottom.

Fertilizing

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding during the winter months when the plants are not actively growing.

Cleaning

Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep them looking vibrant. This also helps the plant breathe better.

Dragon Tree (Dracaena Marginata): The Dragon Tree is toxic to pets. It contains saponins, which can cause nausea, drooling, and lethargy if ingested by cats or dogs.

Dieffenbachia (Dumb Cane): Dieffenbachia is also toxic to pets. It contains insoluble calcium oxalates, which can cause mouth irritation, drooling, and difficulty swallowing if ingested.
